Jens is the Co-founder & COO of Karomia and has 12+ years of experience as a digital strategy consultant and entrepreneur. He’s driven to make a dent in the universe by finding pragmatic solutions to client problems. Jens has a MSc. in Business engineering.

Karel Verhaeghe

Karel is Karomia’s Product Manager. He has 7+ years in customer-focused roles in B2B startups, of which the last 5 as a product manager. He holds a master's in Bio-Engineering and European Policy and is passionate about building products that both create customer and business value while having a positive impact on the world.

Luc Machiels

Luc, the Co-founder and CEO of Karomia, brings over 20 years of industry experience to his role. He has demonstrated excellence in leading innovative programs and guiding high-performing teams. With a PhD in applied mathematics, Luc is an expert in artificial intelligence applications, sustainability analytics, and data systems.

Arne De Witte

Arne is a Software Engineer at Karomia. He is a highly skilled software engineer with deep expertise in Node.js. He excels at creating scalable, high-performance backend systems. With a strong track record of optimizing applications and building maintainable solutions, he effectively addresses a wide range of business challenges.

Mai Tran Vu Ngoc

Mai is Karomia’s Growth Marketing Associate, driven by data and creativity to fuel rapid growth in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue. With an MSc in Management and a multicultural background, she speaks multiple languages and aims to deliver transparent, engaging messages that support customers on their sustainability journey.

Gabriel Sevestre

Gabriel is Karomia’s AI Engineer. He is a former researcher in Mathematics, with a long-time passion for Machine Learning and AI, now dedicated to building useful and impactful Large Language Model applications. Gabriel is driven by a strong belief in the transformative potential of AI to create new and meaningful advancements in many areas.

Simon Hiel

Simon is Co-founder and CTO at Karomia with a strong passion for data science, engineering and advanced analytics. With his data expertise, he drives digital innovation, establishes future-proof data architecture and introduces advanced analytical solutions to our clients. Simon is a visiting researcher at KU Leuven focusing on network analytics, network embedding and community detection.
